SCS Standards Releases Revised SCS Veriflora® Standard for Public Review
Emeryville, Calif.,
SCS Standards is pleased to announce that a version 4.0 of the SCS-001-2 Certification Standard for Veriflora® Sustainably Grown Cut Flowers and Potted Plants is now available for public review.
The Standard was first introduced in 2004 to provide cut flower and potted plant producers globally with a detailed roadmap to demonstrate leadership in environmental protection, social responsibility, and quality performance. With version 4-0, the Veriflora Standard is now better aligned with the Sustainably Grown standard and the evolving responsible sourcing requirements of retailers.
The public is welcome to comment on the version 4.0 updates to the standard until July 3, 2023. To submit comments, please reach out to [email protected], or visit https://www.scsstandards.org/standards/certification-standard-veriflorar-sustainably-grown-cut-flowers-and-potted-plants.
